Mr. Muñoz is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Corporate Finance business. He has more than two decades of experience in corporate finance. Mr. Muñoz is based in the firm’s Madrid office.
Mr. Muñoz has deep knowledge of the Spanish market, maintaining strong relationships with financial sponsors operating in Spain as well as with the most relevant corporates. During his career, he has led a large number of corporate transactions with a particular focus on the industrials, TMT, consumer products, infrastructure, and utilities sectors.
Previously, Mr. Muñoz was a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Fidentiis Capital, the corporate finance arm of Fidentiis Equities. Fidentiis Capital provided independent corporate finance advisory services relating to mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and financing to middle-market companies in Spain and was acquired by Houlihan Lokey in 2019.
Before co-founding Fidentiis Capital, Mr. Muñoz was Director of the Investment Banking division of Bankinter. He also served as a Director in the Corporate Finance division of Espírito Santo Investment and at Socios Financieros.
Mr. Muñoz holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from CUNEF, where he has been professor for M&A, economy, and banking courses.
