New Hire Training Programme
Our training programme offers an introduction to the firm and an opportunity to meet other Financial Analysts and Houlihan Lokey professionals. In addition to various technical topics that will prepare you to handle your job responsibilities, we will review the goals, milestones and expectations of the Financial Analyst Programme.
Assignment of Mentors
We recognise that mentoring is key to the future success of our Financial Analysts. Following an introduction to our professionals, you will choose a mentor who will assist you throughout the programme.
Mentor Meetings
Your first mentor meeting will take place during the first three months of your employment, and you should plan to meet with your mentor at least quarterly.
Ongoing Training
Periodically we will hold tailored training sessions to supplement your initial and on-the-job training. Topics might include, for example, advanced modelling, comparable company analyses, writing skills, and tax and legal issues.
Firm Events
Firm events can be a great opportunity to meet professionals from other groups and learn about new areas. We encourage our Financial Analysts to spend time with their colleagues outside of the business setting.
Midyear Performance Review
After your first six months as a Financial Analyst, you will receive an informal midyear performance review from your supervisor to pinpoint your strengths and identify areas for improvement.
Year-End Performance Review
Our Financial Analysts are reviewed formally each July and are eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance. After soliciting feedback from those who have worked with you over the prior 12 months, your Professional Development Co-ordinator will communicate the strengths that have been identified based on your performance as well as areas for future development.
Second Year — focusing on complex financial analysis, joining client meetings, coordinating transaction processes
