Mr. Jackson is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Chicago office. He has over a decade of experience providing financial advisory services to public and private clients in connection with strategic alternatives assessments, M&A, recapitalizations, leveraged buyouts, spinoffs and going-private transactions, leveraged ESOP buyout transactions and capital-raising activities (senior, mezzanine and equity). He also renders fairness, solvency and transaction-related opinions to companies, boards of directors, special committees, financial institutions and independent fiduciaries.
Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Jackson spent seven years with a Chicago-based financial institution as a commercial loan officer, serving privately held middle-market clients.
Mr. Jackson speaks frequently on valuation, capital markets and financial issues at corporate symposiums and seminars. He is a member of the Business Valuation Association, a member of the National ESOP Association’s Finance Committee and a former member of its Valuation Advisory Committee. He also serves on the Advisory Committee of the Employee-Owned S Corporations of America (ESCA) and the Board of Directors of the Big Shoulders Fund.
Mr. Jackson earned a B.B.A. in finance from the University of Notre Dame and graduated with honors from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, receiving an MBA in analytical finance and economics.
