Rashkes is a Managing Director and Head
Houlihan Lokey's Insurance practice. He has nearly 20 years of experience in financial
has executed a wide variety of projects,
Fortune 500 and international companies, small-caps, entrepreneurs, and private
equity owners. Mr. Rashkes is based in the firm's New York office.
Rashkes' notable transactions include CIFG; New York Life; AIG; Alliant; WMIH; Annexus, advising
the Special Committee of Athene in
connection with the acquisition of VOYA's Annuity Business; advising
in connection with the spinoff of Brighthouse Financial; Assurant; and
joining Houlihan Lokey in 2015, Mr. Rashkes was a Managing Director at
Blackstone Advisory Partners, advising clients across the financial and
insurance services sector. Before joining Blackstone in 2012, Mr. Rashkes
worked at Deutsche Bank, where he executed transactions in the insurance space,
including the sale of New York Life Hong Kong and Korea to Ace Limited as well
as the sale of New York Life Taiwan, Thailand, and India; the sale of AIG's
international Mortgage insurance; and many others. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Mr.
Rashkes worked at Citi for eight years, where he held positions within the
Corporate and Consumer divisions.
Rashkes holds a B.A. in Finance from Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) in Israel
and an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York City.
