Rashkes is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey's Corporate Finance business
and Financial Institutions Group, focused on the insurance sector. He is based in the firm’s New York office.
Before joining Houlihan Lokey in 2015, Mr. Rashkes was
a Managing Director at Blackstone Advisory Partners, advising clients across
the financial services sector, including Blackstone’s sale of Alliant Insurance
Services, Inc. to KKR & Co. L.P.; Assurant’s sale of American Reliable
Insurance Co. to Global Indemnity PLC; and the sale of a minority stake in WMI
Holdings Corp. to KKR. Before joining Blackstone in 2012, Mr. Rashkes worked at
Deutsche Bank, where he executed transactions in the insurance space, including
the sale of New York Life Hong Kong and Korea to Ace Limited as well as the
sale of New York Life Taiwan, Thailand, and India; the sale of AIG’s
international Mortgage insurance; and many others. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Mr.
Rashkes worked at Citi for eight years, where he held positions within the
Corporate and Consumer divisions.
Mr. Rashkes holds a B.A. in Finance from Interdisciplinary
Center (IDC) Herzliya in Israel and an MBA from Columbia Business School in New
