Lerche is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Restructuring Group and
is responsible for the restructuring franchise in the Nordic region. He has
been with the firm for more than 10 years, during which time, he has specialised in financial restructurings across
various jurisdictions. Mr. Lerche is based in the firm’s Frankfurt office.
Mr. Lerche’s deal experience comprises advising
companies, private equity sponsors, par and non-par lender groups, as well as
bidders for distressed assets. Transactions he has advised on include Arvin
Meritor, A.T.U, Augusta Technologie, Highstreet Holding, Hilding Anders, IVG Immobilien, Merckle-Gruppe, Norske Skogindustrier, OC Oerlikon, PA Resources, Pfleiderer, ProSiebenSat1, Sanitec, Schaeffler Technologies, Schefenacker, SolarWorld, Talvivaara Mining, and TiZir.
joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Lerche worked for Dresdner
Kleinwort Wasserstein on M&A, financial restructurings, and financing
transactions. He began his professional career as an attorney and insolvency
practitioner with Wellensiek Rechtsanwalte in Heidelberg and Frankfurt.
Lerche earned his German law degree at the universities of Freiburg and Munster
