Mr. Teigman is a Senior Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Advisory Services business. He focuses on transaction opinions in which he assists boards of directors, special committees, and other constituents in evaluating proposals and understanding critical transaction issues. Mr. Teigman has nearly a decade of experience analyzing complex transactions across many industries, including conflict-prone situations involving issues of corporate governance. He has played an integral role in the rendering of numerous transaction opinions related to M&A, restructurings, recapitalizations, spinoffs, and asset sales. Mr. Teigman splits his time between the firm’s Houston and New York offices.
Mr. Teigman has significant experience in the energy industry, having worked on a number of advisory engagements involving complex and difficult-to-value energy assets. His energy experience includes the E&P, midstream, retail distribution, and renewables subsectors. In addition, Mr. Teigman’s experience includes analyses of various securities and structures common to the energy industry, including reserve-based loans, high-yield and convertible debt, private equity, and tax-advantaged entities. Before joining Houlihan Lokey, he was a member of the equity research team at BMO Capital Markets, where he assisted in coverage of the renewable energy industry.
Mr. Teigman holds a B.S. in Finance, with a minor in Accounting, from Lehigh University, where he graduated summa cum laude. He is a CFA charterholder.
