Mr. Ghaidarov is a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Advisory Services business. He focuses on transaction opinions in connection with mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs and divestitures, dividend recapitalizations, and leveraged buyouts. Mr. Ghaidarov also specializes in the valuation of business enterprises, equity and fixed-income securities, and derivative instruments for portfolio valuation and other financial advisory services. He is based in the firm’s Los Angeles office.

Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Ghaidarov was a Director at Capstone Advisory Group, LLC, where he provided solvency, fairness, and other transaction-related opinions to boards of directors, special committees, and private equity sponsors. Earlier, he was a Manager in the valuation group of a national public accounting firm. Mr. Ghaidarov has authored articles on the topics of pricing illiquid securities and investments in venture-backed companies, and his research has been published in The Journal of Derivatives, Valuation Strategies, and Business Valuation Review.

Mr. Ghaidarov earned a B.A. in Mathematics and Physics, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Kenyon College, and an M.A. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Southern California. He holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst.
