Houlihan Lokey Advises Cardinal Global Logistics

Houlihan Lokey is pleased to announce that Cardinal Global Logistics (Cardinal) has transferred control to an employee-owned trust via a liquidity event for shareholders. The terms of the deal are undisclosed.

Cardinal is the UK’s fastest-growing logistics services provider. It offers services for highly engineered supply chain solutions, consolidation, contract logistics, 3PL, internet fulfilment, global forwarding, and a range of other bespoke solutions.

The company serves more than 6,000 clients with an integrated network serving over 500 ports and airports. Its clients work in various sectors including manufacturing, retail, e-commerce, industrial, technology, aerospace, and chemicals.

Cardinal’s head office is located in Manchester, where the business operates from three sites, all offering 3PL and fulfilment services. More recently, it has continued its rapid expansion programme outside of the UK in Hong Kong, Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Shanghai.

Houlihan Lokey was appointed to pursue a liquidity event for shareholders and advised the company in the raising of substantial financing. Houlihan Lokey also assisted in marketing the transaction, positioning the business and with due diligence, and provided overall project management capabilities.
