Josh Rothstein

Vice President

Mr. Rothstein is a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) Group. He is based in the firm’s Los Angeles office.

Recent clients include Parcast on its sale to Spotify; Mediabox on its acquisition of cable channels UPtv and Aspire; Pixomondo on its sale to Mayfair Equity Partners; Here Media on the sale of Here Publishing to Oreva Capital; Union Bank (financial advisory related to the 363 sale of the Weinstein Company’s assets to Lantern Capital); BOOM Studios! (capital raise from 20th Century Fox); MACRO Media (capital raise); and Impero on its sale to Investcorp Technology Partners.  

Mr. Rothstein has prior investment banking experience with MESA, a merchant bank and advisory firm specializing in digital and traditional media transactions, and previously was a Vice President at Double Feature Films, where he produced film and television for NBCUniversal, Paramount, MGM, CBS Films, Warner Bros., and Comedy Central. He began his career at William Morris Agency. 

Mr. Rothstein holds a B.A. in Political Science from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles.
