Mr.
Bohlin is
a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial and Valuation Advisory business, where he
specializes in valuation and real estate consulting services relating to
strategic decision-making and matters of dispute resolution and litigation
support. He is based in the firm’s New York office.
Mr.
Bohlin
has nearly
two decades of extensive
real estate analytical experience and has valued properties in the U.S. as well
as internationally for assignments relating to financial and tax reporting,
acquisition due diligence, portfolio valuation, acquisition financing, and
property tax appeals.
In
addition, Mr. Bohlin
has provided advisory and consulting services such as market research, highest
and best use studies, transaction analysis, and appraisal reviews. He has
expertise across a wide variety of property types, with significant experience
in hospitality and gaming, data centers, healthcare/skilled-nursing facilities,
and uses related to energy production, in addition to core-types (e.g., office,
retail, industrial, and multi-family).
Prior
to Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Bohlin
served as a Senior Manager in
BDO’s
Valuation & Business Analytics group. He also previously served as a Senior
Manager in CohnReznicks’s
Valuation Advisory Services group, a Manager in PwC’s Financial Instruments, Structured
Products and Real Estate service
line, a
Manager in Deloitte
Advisory’s Transactions and Business Analytics division, and a Senior Analyst
at Nationwide Consulting Company.
Mr.
Bohlin
holds a B.S. in Finance with a minor in Economics from William Paterson
University. He is a Candidate for Designation with the Appraisal Institute
and
is also licensed as a state-certified general real estate appraiser in
numerous states.
