Mr. Forgione is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Transaction Advisory Services practice. He specializes in providing both buyside and sellside financial accounting due diligence services for private equity and corporate clients. Mr. Forgione is based in the firm’s New York office.

With nearly two decades of transaction experience, Mr. Forgione’s areas of expertise include identifying and assessing deal issues, quantifying adjustments impacting transaction value (e.g., quality of earnings, net working capital requirements, indebtedness, synergies), analyzing key performance indicators and projections, evaluating carve-out implications, and reviewing sale and purchase agreements. He has advised on both domestic and international transactions involving acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, add-ons, and integrations. Mr. Forgione has transaction experience across industry verticals, including financial services, industrials, consumer, business services, technology, media, and retail.

Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Forgione worked in Ernst & Young’s transaction advisory practice, where he performed financial due diligence. While there, he was also a member of the firm’s structured finance advisory practice, working with investment banks in their issuances of securitized products. Previously, Mr. Forgione was with Deloitte’s audit practice, where he primarily focused on banks and broker-dealers.

Mr. Forgione holds a B.S. in Accounting from Fordham University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
