Robert Freiman


Mr. Freiman is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Data & Analytics Group, focusing on financial technology. He began his investment banking career in 2005 and has advised numerous public and private companies across the globe. He is based in the firm’s New York office.

Mr. Freiman has worked on M&A and financing transactions across a range of fintech verticals, predominantly in payments and banking technology. Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, his notable transaction experience included the sales of Clearent to Advent International, the Chicago Stock Exchange to Intercontinental Exchange, Capsilon to Francisco Partners, Simple to BBVA, and GP Net to Visa, as well as the acquisition of TransFirst by TSYS.

Previously, Mr. Freiman was a Director with GCA Advisors, where he was a senior member of the financial technology team. Before GCA, he was an investment banker with Portico Capital and Citigroup in New York.

Mr. Freiman graduated from Dartmouth College with a degree in Economics.
