Simone is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Advisory Services business. He
has more than 19 years of experience in corporate finance, with an emphasis on
the valuation and diligence of businesses, securities, and intangible assets. Mr.
De Simone has advised public and private companies, boards of directors,
special committees, investors, and nonprofits on valuations, fairness and
solvency opinions, and transaction matters. He has a broad range of experience
in financial consulting, including merger, acquisition, reorganization,
restructuring, complex financial instrument, syndication, and strategic and
financial planning analyses. Mr. De Simone is based in the firm’s Atlanta office.
joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. De Simone was a Senior Manager in the Los Angeles
office of Ernst & Young. He previously worked in the San Francisco and Palo
Alto offices. Mr. De Simone conducted valuations and performed financial
consulting as part of the technology
group. He also worked in other industries, with a focus on business
services, healthcare, and manufacturing. Mr. De Simone worked closely with the
Americas strategy, Japanese services, and due diligence practices; he also liaised
with Ernst & Young’s venture capital investments.
Simone serves on the March of Dimes Atlanta Board of Directors and served as
chairman of the 2015 Downtown Atlanta March for Babies. He also served on the
Atlanta Association for Corporate Growth Cup Executive Committee from 2009
Simone earned a B.A. in Economics and Philosophy from Claremont McKenna College
and an MBA in Finance from Emory University. He has been designated by the
